Narita-Toykyo Airport Japan – July 21st
This is was greeted me in Japan after a 14hour flight from Atlanta on my way to Singapore. Savory is the best word to describe the broth and the soft peice of pork left me wishing I went with the option that had four peices. Most of us know Ramen as the cheap dehydrated stuff that we soaked in hot water to get us through a late study night in college. I don’t want to take anything away from the packaged stuff but the real deal taste even better.
“Ramen is a Japanese noodle dish. It consists of Chinese-style wheat noodles served in a meat- or fish-based broth, often flavored with soy sauce or miso, and uses toppings such as sliced pork, dried seaweed, kamaboko, green onions, and occasionally corn.”
