On Sunday afternoon we made it down to the massive food truck rodeo at Durham Central Park. I got there about 45 minutes before the start time because I was strapping a GoPro to Director of Deliciousness of the truck American Meltdown Paul Inserra and wanted to get it set before the action started. Once I got the camera fastened to Paul’s head I took a walk to check out the trucks. With +40 trucks there was plenty of variety.

Below are a few pictures from the afternoon. Please visit my photography site here.  If you see yourself in any of these pictures feel free to tag yourself and share on Facebook here

I dig the concept of mac and cheese how you want it but not sure about the execution. 8 bucks for a cup of mac and cheese with bacon and large slices of raw jalapeño left me a little underwhelmed. With that said they seem to be a crowd favorite at the moment as their line was one longest once the crowds rolled in.

People coming down the hill were actually catching a surprising amount of speed but with only two tracks the line was unbearable.
