Tree #51 by SEEDSNC
Looking to get out in Durham, see some Christmas lights for a good cause! Tonight is the last night to be a part of the Triangle Christmas Tree Challenge. 53 trees are beautifully decorated by local non-profit organizations between DPAC and American Tobacco Campus downtown for your viewing pleasure. All you have to do is vote via your phone and you can help your favorite organization take home $5,000 for their cause.
A couple days ago we made an evening of it:
1) Have dinner at any one American Tobaccos restaurants. From great past experiences I can suggest Tyler’s Tap Room and L’uva.
2) Go ice skating at the Ice Factory located at the north end of American Tobacco Campus. We decided to just watch other people fall all over cold ice but its just as fun.
3) If you don’t have any broken bones after your trip to the Ice Factory, check out the Triangle Christmas Tree Challenge. Our little guy had fun running past all the trees. Our favorite tree #51 happens to belong to our favorite local non-profit SEEDS. For more information and how to vote click the here.
