I have started a new football tradition of making my own rendition of local cuisine of whomever the Patriots are playing. This weekend the Patriots traveled to Baltimore to play the Ravens.
When coming up with what I would cook, the obvious choice fell in the direction of seafood due to Baltimore’s position on the nations largerst estuary, the Chesapeake bay. I am embarrassed to admit that I grew up disliking seafood and only recently have I started fighting back my aversion from all things from the sea, and have only once delved into cooking with crabs. To avoid turning my Sunday into a pukefest I just decided to make things easy on myself and go with a sea dweller I am familiar with that would not turn my stomach into mush…shrimp.
When cooking I did not measure amounts and suggest tasting often and adjusting amounts to suit your personal taste.

On my little guys 2 month birthday the Patriots fell to the tough Baltimore Ravens. Next week they face the Buffalo Bills and try to avoid a three game losing streak. It seems pretty obvious what I will be making next Sunday but I will try to keep it interesting.
