Sausage Hole French Toast

I was recently looking at a food magazine where they cut a hole out of the middle of a piece of bread and cooked an egg inside. Since my mind is always wondering around swine, I thought it would be a good idea to put sausage inside it. Makes perfect sense since they are always at the same place anyway why  not let piggly wiggly be at the center of the action.

4 eggs

1 cup International Delights Cinnabon Coffee Creamer

10 slices of white bread

dash cinnamon

dash nutmeg

10 round sausage patties

butter

maple syrup

Beat eggs, creamer, nutmeg and cinnamon together in a shallow bowl and set aside.

Cook sausage patties all the way through per packaging  instructions and set aside.

Find a circular item with the approximate size of the cooked sausage. I used the twist on cap from a bottle of seasoning. Lay bread out on a flat surface and press the cap through the middle of the bread to make a circular cut out. Set the bread and circles aside.

Add a thin slice of butter to a large skillet over a medium-high heat. Dip as many bread and circles that will fit in the skillet and cook on both sides until golden brown. Place the sausage on the skillet for 30 seconds to warm on each side then place inside the middle of the slices of bread.

Top with the finest maple syrup you can find and head to breakfast heaven
