Lilly’s Pizza

810 W. Peabody Street
Durham, NC

What We Ate:

Thai Bhat – Homemade thai curry sauce, all natural grilled chicken, roasted garlic, chili pepper, baby corn, straw mushroom, organic carrots, sharp cheddar, parmesan, fresh ginger and scallions.  I love Thai food and curry so I was a big fan of this pizza, the flavors matched nicely on top of a pizza.

South of the Border – Homeade black bean salsa, roasted garlic, sharp cheddar, monterry jack, all-natural grilled chicken, organic yellow onions, diced jalapenos, roasted chilies, house made atomic sauce and cilantro. A tastey hybrid for those like myself who love Italian and Mexican food.

Chicken Pesto Stromboli – All natural grilled chicken rolled with a homemade cream of pesto, sundried tomatoes, mozzarella and parmesan cheese. The filling of this stromboli was great but felt the dough was hard and bland

Cowtipper – Homemade organic tomato sauce, all natural ground beef, black olives, parmesan and feta cheese. The beef, olives and feta blended nicely to make this a tastey pizza.

Overall we really liked Lilly’s and look forward to trying some other item’s on a menu that has a little something for everyone.

– great pizza combos

– friendly service

– slow service (new location and staff still working out the kinks)

– not a fan of stromboli dough
