Houston Roadside Taqueria

Houston, Texas (on Fallbrook Drive near the Fairbanks N. Houston Steet intersection)

“Taquería  is a Spanish word meaning taco shop. In some localities, however, it is used to refer to restaurants specializing in burritos, although tacos and other dishes are often served as well.

I couple weeks ago I was in Houston and on my way to the airport when I skipped off the road at the sight of this little place.

It should be illegal to serve food this cheap and this good on the side of the road.

Just had lunch there today… (on Friday the 13th, no less) very good ! I spotted this place the other day while on my way to get BBQ (a slightly different authentic Houston eating experience) – had to go back and check it out. Had a taco and a gordito. Both were good. The verde sauce is mmmmmm
