Tan Chin Lee Sea-Fresh

We are starting to discover that we don’t have to trek all the way across Singapore for good food. Not too many tourist have reason to make it to the industrial side of town and all the local faces gave a hint that this place may be easier on the wallet without sacrificing taste.

My first time eating boiled peanuts was in South Carolina where bill, H.4585 makes boiled peanuts the state’s offical snack. Since then I have been a fan but didn’t expect to see them on a table in Southest Asia. They are a street food or snack in many African and Asian countries.

Ostrich and Spicy Fried Rice w/ Prawns – Was suprised with the taste and texture of the ostrich. It’s texture was more like that off beef than a bird.

Fried Fresh Scallops w/ Hawaii Nut in Taro Nest
