GAMEDAY SANDWICH

When you don’t want to go through the trouble of cooking, nothing beats a good meaty Italian style sandwich on game day. Why bother going out to buy one when you can easily make one as good as your local deli or subway. The key is quality ingredients, so head to the deli section of your local grocery store and get the good stuff.

1 large loaf of Italian/French bread

sliced deli ham

sliced sopressata  or hot capicola

sliced Genoa salami

sliced provolone

sliced tomato

sliced onions

boston lettuce

Italian dressing

grated parmesan cheese

deli mustard

mayonnaise

6 Pack of Miller High Life ( Champagne of Beer)

Split the loaf of bread in half and add some mayo to the bottom half of bread. Add a layer of ham followed by a layer of sopressata then Salami.

Stop drooling and take a sip of the high life.

Add some mustard to the deli meat then top the layer of meat with provolone cheese. Place some onions on top of the cheese.

Reward your hard work with another swig of the “high life”

Add some sliced tomatoes to the top of the pile then drizzle some Italian dressing on top of the tomatoes. Sprinkle the grated parmesan on top of the tomatoes.

Finally place some lettuce on top and cut in half

You can make an easy party platter by cutting the sandwich in 1”-2” slices and putting a toothpick though the top.

Now sit back with your sandwich, High Life and watch the Patriots pull another win
