Get Your Rib-on / Twin City Ribfest

This weekend “Him and Her” and hungry family members will travel to Winston-Salem, North Carolina for the Twin City Ribfest. Below is some information for anyone thinking about attending and what to expect, seems like a great time to us:

In 2005 the Texas Pete Twin City RibFest began in a church parking lot in downtown Winston-Salem, NC. Its success helped it gain national recognition in  Bon Apetit magazine and MarthaStewart.com, as well as being named Top 20 Event by the Southeast Tourism Bureau.

THE COMPETITION

In addition to cooking up some great barbecue for thousands of hungry RibFest attendees, our eight national ribbers  compete for four awards including People’s Choice, Best Ribs, Best Sauce and Grand Champion.

THE MARKET

Ribs and music are not all that you will find at the 2010 Texas Pete Twin City RibFest. Once they have their fill of ribs our attendees love to meander through The Market which has an assortment of offerings, everything from jewelry to pets.

FOR THE KIDS

We don’t forget the kids at the Texas Pete Twin City RibFest. Our partners, Brinkley Entertainment provides a full carnival of rides and games for the little ones. We also have plenty of other offerings for the young and young of heart including RibFest regular, Captain Jim the pirate and camel rides.
