At the start of the new year, I came to the realization that to accomplish my goals, one of my most important sub-goals should be to meet new people and surround myself with others who have elevated or are trying to elevate. With that goal in mind I decided to attempt to meet someone new in the food industry every week. The first person I decided to reach out to was Eric Bowen, Founder of GoMarketNC. I wanted to hear more about his idea to bring an online farmer’s market to the area. When we met in person, ideas started flying and it reinforced how important personal interaction still counts in this ever-increasing online world.
We figured if two people who have never met are swapping ideas, what can happen if a room full of innovative people gather with food and beer. We just might be able to help solve problems, put someone in touch with a great contact and at the very least drink some great beer. So please join Eric, Brendan (Eric’s business partner with GoMarketNC) and I at Fullsteam Brewery in two weeks on March 6th at 7pm. Fullsteam will have excellent beer on tap, Pie Pushers on the pizzas and Parlour serving the ice cream.
